Wanda Wardlow

Enrolled Agent

Individual & Estate Tax

About: Wanda has been an Enrolled Agent (EA) for over 20 years. She is our resident tax expert. She knows her FAI from her DNI and her corpus from her crummy. It never ceases to amaze me but she has this knack for reading detailed documents. If you need someone to read lengthy IRS publications or cumbersome trust document - Wanda is the one. In all seriousness, Wanda's real gift is making her clients feel supported and knowing there is someone to guide them through the arduous and tedious process of filing their tax returns.

Hobbies: Cake decorating.

Life Goals:  Taking the Coast Starlight to Seattle

Marina Kanushkina

Financial Business Analyst

About: It all started when she was 12 - Marina wanted a clothing empire. "I tried to talk my Mom into joining me in a clothing business - she wanted no part of it, but it did start my love with business and getting them going." She has come a long way since then; hospitality management in Switzerland, operating a profitable start-up restaurant, getting an MBA in The City, and working in a CPA firm preparing tax returns. Marina moved to the Bay Area seven years ago to pursue her MBA degree. Four years later after working in a CPA firm, she helped Margaret to launch Legal Thrive because there is more to life than just a tax return. Her passion is to help business owners to understand financial data and to improve their firm’s operations by drawing upon technology. In addition that entrepreneurial mindset that she has had since she was 12 helps to ignite that same spirit in firm partners.

Hobbies: World traveling, boxing and snowboarding.

Life Goals: Start a wine-making family business somewhere in France.
